cities show growth
Cottonwood and Ferdinand each showed population growth from 2010 to 2011 according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s annual population estimates released this past week. They showed Cottonwood with a population of 901 in the 2010 census and 910 in the 2011 estimate, a growth of 1.0%. Ferdinand was shown with a population of 159 in 2010 and 161 in 2011, a 1.3% increase. Grangeville is shown with an increase from 3,146 to 3,176 while Craigmont grew by 1 from 501 to 502 and Nezperce lost 1, dropping from 466 to 465. Kamiah also lost 1 dropping from 1,296 to 1,295 while Kooskia grew by 6 from 608 to 614. |
