Vivian Wilson from Spaulding Park visited the library's
Summer Reading Program last Thursday. She told about the Nez Perce
legend of how the moon came about. We then had an activity to see
how the moons craters were made by using flour with red jello sprinkled
on top. By dropping a golf ball and ping pong ball we could see how
deep the craters would be and how far the dust would spread. Our
last week of the program will be this Thursday. WE WILL BE MEETING
AT THE CITY PARK THIS THURSDAY THE 26TH FROM 1:30-3:00. We will be
awarding prizes, so please bring your reading charts to the park. Click
on the photos for larger views.
