The most unusual competitors in the pigtail contest are lineup up on stage as event chairman Melinda Sonnen-Brillon has them introduce themselves so the audience can vote for the winner. Kenly Forsmann, lower photo, was the eventual winner. Click on the top photo for a larger view.

The grand champion pig puckered up for Tim Schumacher who was this year’s winner in the Kiss the Pig Contest. Click on the photo for a larger view.

Although he didn’t get to kiss the pig, Butch Spencer offered to kiss the grand champion steer if an additional $50 was raised for the sponsoring group. A couple of the sale buyers quickly put up the $50. Click on the photo for a larger view.
