In their only volleyball action of the week the Summit Lady Patriots were swept at Nezperce Thursday, Sept. 6 by scores of 12-25, 11-25 and 9-25. Summit had a lot of trouble returning Nezperce’s serves as the Indians tallied 31 aces over the 3 games. The JV team played things a little closer but still lost by scores of 21-25 and 20-25. The Patriots were to play in a tri-match Tuesday against Prairie and Genesee and will host Kendrick on Thursday, Sept. 13 and play at the Grangeville Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 15. They have another tri-match next Tuesday, Sept. 18 at Prairie where they will also have a league match against Highland. Action from Summit match against Nezperce at Highland over a week ago.
