County Democrats to host Greencreek Dinner
Idaho County Democrats will be hosting the biennial Greencreek dinner and fund raiser on Saturday, October 20.  This year's theme is "Finding Reason".  The event will be at the Greencreek Community Hall.  A no-host social time at the "Pour House" will begin at 5:00 until the "soup line" dinner begins at 6:30 p.m., featuring home-made chicken soup, beef stew, a vegetarian entree and assorted breads, green salad, pumpkin pie and fruit crisp.  Cost for the dinner is $20.00/person.  Group tables may be reserved.
Throughout the evening, an array of unique silent auction items will be on display for perusal and bidding.  One pre-chosen item will be available through the purchase of raffle tickets.  Many door prizes will be award during the event.
The key-note speaker will be Larry Grant, chairman of the Idaho Democratic Party.  There will also be speeches by Jimmy Farris (opposing Raul Labrador, Casey Drews (opposing Shannon McMillan), Nancy Lerandeau (opposing Paul Shepherd) and Jim Rehder (opposing Jim Chmelik).  Campaign literature and yard signs will be available  for distribution.  Entertainment (a Capitol Steps parody) will be a political dissertation ("dolitical pissertation") by a group of local democrats ("docal lemocrats").
For dinner ticket reservations and more information call:  Janice Ingrahm (983-0616) or Sharon Jeffery (983-2416).
