are finalist at WAA awards
MeShel Rad as female athlete, Lori Mader as coach of the year and Greg Wherry for meritorious award were all finalists at the Warrior Athletic Association High School Awards banquet held last Tuesday, Oct. 16 at the LCSC Activity Center. 5 finalists were named in each category from the nominees submitted by each of the 21 schools participating and the winners were chosen from those. Everyone nominated went home with an engraved trophy. Additional nominees for Prairie were Justin Schmidt for male athlete and the girls basketball team for team of the year. Summit Academy’s nominees included Savanah Prigge for female athlete, Austin Chmelik for male athlete, Pete Prigge for coach and the girls basketball team for team of the year. |
