participate in Wellness Day
Students at Prairie Elementary School participated in a Wellness Day as a finale to Red Ribbon Week on Friday, October 26. They would like to thank the following presenters who gave their time to make the day such a success: Lynn Danly from the BLM – Outdoor survival Kelly Carlstrom from the Boys and Girls Club of Lewiston – Healthy Lifestyles and Friendships Dr. Tyler Harrington, DDS, from Mountain View Dentistry in Grangeville – Dental hygiene Zach Nichols from the Idaho County Sherriff’s Office – Drug awareness and prevention Lisa Carr from the University of Idaho – Nutrition Ed Holthaus, Roy Uhlenkott, and Chief Greg Sonnen from the Cottonwood Volunteer Fire Department – Fire safety
