Students of the month at Prairie Jr./Sr. High School are Whitney Sonnen for the high school and Ryan Glimp for the junior high.  Whitney, left, is very conscientious, positive, hard working and polite.  She is a real pleasure to have in class! Ryan, right, works hard at everything he does.  Even if it is something that challenges him, he is always positive and has a smile on his face! Photo provided by Ryan Hasselstrom. Nick and Cherie McDonough are once again organizing a Rome Pilgrimage for Spring 2014.  The group will be sponsoring many fund raisers to offset the cost including spaghetti feeds and selling wood. The first fund raiser is the FAMOUS FAT TUESDAY/MARDI GRAS/SPAGHETTI FEED.  This will be held February 12th at the Cottonwood Community Hall from 5:00-8:00.  The meal will feature many varieties of homemade “favorite” sauces, green salad, garlic bread, desserts, and beverages.  The cost is $8 for adults/high school; $5 for grades 1-8; $30 for a family of 5; and free for kindergarten and under.  There will be a silent auction all evening with a live auction at 7:00.  If you are unable to come, delivery offered by calling 208-816-1817.
