Their ages were from 10 to 14 years old. The winners of the Cottonwood Council 1389 competed in a district shoot at Prairie Elementary School on Saturday, January 19. Each champion received a medallion and certificate. Britney Bianchi was the 14-year old girls champion and Todd Ott was the winner of the 14-year old boys division. In the 13 year olds bracket Leah Higgins was the girls champion and Tyson Schlader was the boys champion. The 12-year old division was won by Spencer Schumacher for the boys and Kori Pentzer for the girls. The 11-year old champion was Jordyn Higgins for the girls and Samuel Mager for the boys. In the youngest division, the 10-year old girls champion was Paige Pentzer and the boys champion was Damian Forsmann. This year’s event had many good shooters and their scores will be compared to the other competitors in the state. If they win the state competition their scores will go on to the international competition in New Haven, CT.
