A putback by Sarah Chmelik and another basket by Frei each tied the score again at 7 and at 9 but Nezperce then closed out the half with a 0-5 run to take a 9-14 lead at the break. The third quarter was exceptionally offensive challenged as only 3 total points were scored. Abi Chmelik scored a free throw t the 5:58 mark and Nezperce got a basket at the 3:20 mark and that was it for the quarter as Nezperce took a 10-16 lead into the final period.
