With some lifestyle changes, our whole body health can be improved throughout our lives. Cardiac rehab offers the clients the tools, knowledge, and motivation to fight the progression of cardiovascular disease, through education and lifestyle changes. This program includes information on exercise, low fat diet, smoking cessation, and stress reduction. Our staff is well aware of how cardiac rehabilitation can help people achieve their full potential for well-being. We are grateful for the opportunity to provide this service for our area.” During the open house, hospital personnel will do blood pressure checks, oxygen saturation levels, blood sugar checks, BMI, along with information on cardiac medications. Free lipid panel coupons will be given out to those attending. Please join the Cardiac Rehab staff for an afternoon of learning more about your heart health and visiting with friends, refreshments will be provided. |
