Summit Academy sent a boys and girls team to the Hallissey Tournament in Boise. Pictured here are the boys' team with their Sportsmanship trophy. In addition to that award they also finished in fourth place! Congratulations to the boys and their coach, Karla Krogh. Photo provided by Summit Academy. After cleaning out their school library, Summit Academy found a new home for their extra books: a residential foster care home. Summit partnered with a nonprofit organization called Doctors for Orphans based out of California. This nonprofit creates libraries and provides books to American children in foster care overcoming trauma and crisis as well as children in third world countries. Summit was happy to use their resources to help other children in need. These Summit students help box the books to be shipped: (l-r) Thomas Schwartz, Dean Stubbers, Justin Dempsey, and Matthew Schwartz.
