Congratulations to the Prairie Girls Basketball team and Division one, White Pine League coach of the year, Lori Mader . The Sportsmanship trophy and third place in a state tournament is something to be proud of. Congratulations also to Kamiah for claiming the State Championship title and to Lapwai for second place. The White Pine League did very well this year. While listening to the game between Prairie and Kamiah, I could not help but think of Ingrid Mader, mother of the two coaches in this contest. What a nail biter it must have been for her. Personally, I was more excited about the coaching during that game than the Super Bowl game with the two brothers coaching against each other. A reminder: The Library has available for public use, a copy machine, fax machine and internet service. There are also books, VCR’s, Books on tape and other items for sale. If you don’t come in and look you really aren’t aware of what we do have to offer. Also available is a nice selection of Audio and Video CD’s and LARGE PRINT BOOKS and DICTIONARY. We are always receptive of suggestions that will benefit the public and the library so please share your thoughts and ideas with us. |
