The March meetings of the St. Mary’s Hospital and Clinics Diabetes Support Groups will be held on Tuesday, March 19th from 1:00 to 3:00 at the Kamiah Bible Church and on Wednesday, March 20th from 1:00 to 3:00 in the Clearwater Room of the Nezperce National Forest Headquarters; 104 Airport Rd in Grangeville. Please note the time and address change for the Grangeville meeting; this will only affect the March meeting. The topic will be “Back to Basics Series – Taking Insulin. The Healthy Horizons weight management classes will be held on March 5th in the Kamiah Clinic and March 7th in the Cottonwood Clinic, the topic will be “Body Image”. The second session of the March meetings will be held on March 19th in Kamiah and March 21st in Cottonwood, the topic for these sessions will be “Get Moving”. Confidential weigh-in is at 5:30 and the presentations begin at 6:00. There are still tickets available for the Mardi Gras celebration which will be held on March 23rd in the Cottonwood Community Hall. Proceeds will benefit the Emergency Room Remodeling Project. Yoga classes are being offered on Wednesday evenings; March 6th thru April 24th from 5:30 to 6:30 in the Cottonwood Community Hall. Cost is $10.00 per session or $56.00 for the 8 week course. No pre-registration is required. |
