Due to eleven year old Carson Forsman being out
of town during the Good Neighbor Award Contest judging in Ferdinand
the Nezperce Garden Club was unable to run his picture in the paper for
receiving a certificate of participation for entering the contest.
The Club also gave Carson a token for an ice cream that he can
redeem at The Hang Out in Cottonwood.

The family of Ken and Pat Schmidt met in Lincoln City,
OR for a family get-together over the 4th of July weekend. While
there they enjoyed visiting Depot Bay and Newport. Some hiked into
Wolfer Creek Falls while others enjoyed deep sea fishing. Other activities
included a cartwheel competition and kite flying on the beach. Unable
to attend were Lacey and Jake Chaffee and girls, Drew Beckman and Jerad
