The 4th annual Knight of Columbus, council 1386, Golf tournament was this weekend at the Grangeville Country Club. The winners of the $750 cash prize, with a score of 22 on 9 holes, was Jim Vopat, Mark Vanderwall, Allan Willis, and Dave Wimer. Wimer donated his winning back to the causes the Knight support. The field was filled with 52 Golfers on 13 teams. The proceeds from the event help support various causes the Knight help to support. The other major winner was Dave Jones winning $137.50 on the duck race which is a 50/ 50 event. Rubber ducks, which are purchased prior to the race, are all dumped into the creek at the golf course and raced to the finish line. Jones’ duck splashed to the finish first with his other duck in second place. There were 55 ducks in the race. 
The winning team in the annual KC Golf Tournament is made up of Mark Vanderwall, Jim Vopat, Allan Willis and Dave Wimer.
