Volleyball awards given

Award winners at the Prairie volleyball awards banquet are shown above. From left are Krystin Uhlenkott, most valuable; Natasha Gimmeson, most improved, and Beka Bruner, most inspirational. Coach Cheyenne Hudson also gave out certificates to the stat leaders. Uhlenkott had the most kills and was second in digs. Hailey Danly had most, aces, assists and digs. Leah Holthaus, Prairie’s representative to the district all-star game held Tuesday evening, was second in kills and aces. Shayla VonBargen led in blocks with Kayla Schumacher 2nd. Gimmeson was 2nd in assists. Coach Hudson was also selected as one of the coaches for the all-star game.

Two compete at State Crosscountry
Two Prairie athletes competed at the State Crosscountry Meet Saturday, Nov. 2 at Idaho Falls.
Peter Spencer ran in the boys 5K race and finished in 29th place with a time of 18:41.03.
Sky Wilson finished in 31st place in the girls 5K race with a time of 22:53.65. She was right behind Highland’s Makayla Kaufman who was 30th in 22:49.57.
