The annual Alumni basketball games were held Monday, Dec. 30 after they had been cancelled Dec. 20 due to the snowstorm. 8 men and 13 women took part. Women’s teams were Lori Mader, NaTosha Schaeffer Stowers, Kaylee Uhlenkott, Tanna Schlader, Jennifer Enneking, Lisa Forsmann and Kara Guyer on one team and MaKayla Schaeffer, Megan Sigler, Brandy Forsmann McElroy, Tyler Workman, Shelley Wren Schlader and Shelby Sigler (wife of Daniel Sigler) on the other team. Lori Mader’s team wound up winning 69-65 after leading by much more than that most of the game. The men played 4 on 4 with Beau Schlader, Justin Schmidt, Troy Lorentz and Glenn Poxleitner edging the team of Marcus Higgins, Adam Forsmann, Pat McWilliams and Zack Frei by a 55-54 score.
