Memorial
service planned
St. Mary’s Hospital and Clinics will be sponsoring a Memorial Service in their Cottonwood Clinic on Saturday, January 11th at 2:00. The service is open to the public and will honor all friends and relatives near and far who have passed away during the past year. The service will be facilitated by Sister Barbara Bielenberg, Mission Services Director. “The service will include a listing of St. Mary’s Hospital and Clinic patients who have passed away during the last year,” said Cheri Holthaus, Community Relations Coordinator. “However if you would like to honor someone who was not a SMH patient we invite you to attend and bring the name of your loved one and we will also read it off. The service will include songs, readings, reflections and the placing of Stars with the names of the deceased on the Memorial Tree.” “Sometimes when someone passes away we are so busy making the arrangements and adjusting to the changes we don’t feel we’ve really had a chance to memorialize our love one,” said Sr. Bielenberg. “A memorial service gives us the opportunity to once again remember the family member or friend who influenced our lives. It can be a celebration to their good works and a chance to reflect on ourselves and them.” For more information on the service call Sr. Barbara Bielenberg at the hospital at 962-3251. |
