983-2164 to Register Artistic Angle of Photography Mon. Feb 10th& 24th; 6:00–8:30pm Instructor: Shilo Bradley; $37 At: Grangeville Outreach Computer Lab In this two session class, manual camera functions will be reviewed and then artistic techniques, composition, camera angles and use of light will be taught. The class will then be given a homework assignment (which is not mandatory to complete). The second class will be review, questions and then a positive critique session of the images submitted by students. The critique will include how the rules of composition, artistic techniques and light were applied. Students should bring their manual camera and USB cord. Icing and Piping Wed. Feb 12th; 6:00-8:30pm Instructor: Beth Sturdevant; $32 At: Pizza Factory, Grangeville A beautiful cake starts with a beautiful base. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, learn how to level and ice a cake and then learn how to apply some favorite borders! Students must bring decorating bags and tips #106, 98, 65 & 32. Intermediate Fly Tying Tu/Thurs Feb 18th to 27th; 6:30-8:00pm Instructor: Phil Jahn; $60 At: Grangeville Elementary/Middle School This course goes beyond the basics of fly tying by offering four sessions featuring techniques for popular steelhead flies, bass and panfish poppers, terrestrial imitations, and other effective patterns. Students are expected to have some knowledge of fly tying and must have their own tools and equipment. Participants must register by Feb 11th so the instructor can order materials. The class fee covers the cost of materials. |
