Relays, Spencer win at Kamiah
Peter Spencer won the 800 and 1600 and the girls 4x200 and 4x400 relays both won at a 12 school track meet at Kamiah Tuesday, March 25. Spencer won the 800 in 2:08.85 and the 1600 in 4:54.83. The girls 4x200 team of Keely Schmidt, Chaye Uptmor, Shayla VonbArgen and Mykaela McWilliams won with a time of 1:56.56 and the 4x400 team of Schmidt, McWilliams, Uptmor and Krystin Uhlenkott won in 4:28.77. Also for the boys Lucas Arnzen placed high in 3 different events. He was 2nd in the 400 in 51.80, just 0.52 seconds shy of Andy Harmans school record of 51.28. He was also 2nd in the 200 in 23.67 and third in the 100 in 11.93. Isaiah Shears was 8th in the 400 in 57.76, 13th in the 100 in 12.65 and 13th in the 200 in 25.96. Drew Cochran was 3rd in the 3200 in 12:04.21, 6th in the 1600 in 5:32.10 and 12th in the shot put at 330. Westin Crenshaw was 6th in the shot put at 358, 7th in the discus at 995 and 35th in the 200 in 30.02. Dakota Wilson was 6th in the discus at 1017 and 7th in the shot at 357½. Ricardo Dominguez was 4th in the 3200 in 12:09.40, 8th in the 1600 in 5:42.17 and 24th in the long jump at 135. Dally Ratcliff was 11th in the 300 hurdles in 57.49 and 13th in the triple jump at 313. Bryson Higgins was 18th in the 200 in 26.45, 18th in the 100 in 13.22 and 18th in the long jump at 151. Lucas Wemhoff was 16th in the long jump at 152½ and 31st in the 200 in 13.32. Brandon Higgins was 14th in the triple jump at 307 and 25th in the long jump at 133. Andrew Everson was 19th in the discus at 709, 20th in the shot at 296 and 37th in the 200 at 31.02. Ryan Glimp was 16th in the triple jump at 285½ and 17th in the discus at 7410. The 4x400 relay team of Wilson, Arnzen, Spencer and Shears was 4th in 3:54.31. The medley team of Brandon Higgins, Glimp, Wemhoff and Ratcliff was 5th in 4:54.90. The 4x200 team of Wilson, Glimp, Wemhoff and Brandon Higgins was 10th in 1:52.19. As a team the boys placed 5th with 77 points. For the girls Uhlenkott was 2nd in the 200 at 28.39, 2nd in the long jump at 153½ and 4th in the triple jump at 299½ Uptmor took 2nd in the 800 at 2:38.35. McWilliams was 2nd in the 300 hurdles in 51.81 and 6th in the 100 hurdles in 18.94. Heidi Holubetz was 2nd in the discus at 93.8 and 6th in the shot put at 307. Shayla VonBargen was 3rd in the high jump at 44, 6th in the 400 at 1:11.0 and 12th in the 200 at 30.98. Brandi Gehring was 5th in the 100 hurdles in 18.91, 7th in the 300 hurdles in 56.16 and 6th in the high jump at 42. Beka Bruner was 7th in the 3200 in 15:38.50. Schmidt was 8th in the 200 in 26.69. Beth Dinning was 8th in the discus at 842 and 14th in the shot at 254. Sydney Glimp was 16th in the discus at 659 and 23rd in the 200 at 33.86. Bailie Gehring was 31st in the shot at 197, 32nd in the discus at 460, 33rd in the 100 at 17.39 and 34the in the 200 at 37.88. Emily McHugh was 26th in the discus at 528 and 33rd in the shot at 182½. As a team the girls placed 2nd behind Lewiston with 93 points. The track team is now off for Spring Break with their next scheduled meet being Saturday, April 12 at Lapwai.
