mammograms available through Syringa Hospital
Syringa Hospital & Clinics (SHC) is pleased to announce that St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center (SJRMC) of Lewiston will now be providing digital mobile mammography services for our patients. SJRMC provides state of the art digital imaging and the technologists are certified, experienced, and dedicated to the quality of your care. In addition, they are recognized by the American College of Radiology as the only Breast Center of Excellence in our region. Screening exams will now be offered three Thursdays of each month at the Main Street parking lot of Syringa Hospital &Clinics. Patients with future scheduled appointments with St. Luke’s Mobile Mammography will be contacted by St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center to re-schedule the visit. At the time of the service SJRMC will contact St Luke’s to request the patient’s previous mammograms for comparison. We are thankful for the great service St. Luke’s has provided our community for the past 5 years and have only ended this relationship in an attempt to better accommodate our patients with a more local choice so that any needed follow-up exams or intervention can be provided much closer to home.
