Lady Pirates split 2 games; Rain forces postponements
The Prairie Lady Pirates played just 2 games this past week, losing a league game to Genesee 4-10 on Tuesday, April 15, then winning a non-league game against C.V. Monday, April 21 12-0 as Leah Holthaus tossed a no-hitter. . . .
The games scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday this week have both been postponed due to rain. Prairie will play Troy May 3 at 11 .m. and Highland May 6 at 4:30 p.m. . . .

Zita Schmidt, was the 0-3 year old winner at Greencreek's Easter Egg Hunt. She is the daughter of T. J. and Melissa Schmidt 

Nehe Miah Mager was the 4-5 year old winner at Greencreek. She is the daughter of John and Denise Mager.

Lane Lustig was the 6-7 year old winner at the Greencreek Egg Hunt. He is the son of Cory and Tessica Lustig.

Suzanne Williams, daughter of Jay and Carol Williams (Tempe, AZ.) and granddaughter of Martin and Florence Nuxoll, will graduate May 12, 2014 from the Barrett Honors College of Arizona State University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Armed with her research in Carbon Molecular Sieve Membranes, Suzanne plans to pursue innovations in "green" technologies.
