Letter to Editor
Our Attorney General comes up short on facts-on the federal lands,
the Land Board and “Ottercare” Obamacare. His short-sightedness demonstrates
his lack of understanding of constitutional issues and how out of touch
he is with the need for jobs in our rural counties.
He has refused to enforce Idaho’s Health Freedom Act. Because of that
Idahoans will be penalized with a “head tax” next year. He has lost several
times to environmentalists our grazing leases, he refused to consider land
exchanges authorized under Idaho Constitution that would have kept these
lands in production. He instructed the Land Board to purchase commercial
properties and compete with private business, killing Idaho jobs..
So he seems to be like a Banty Rooster “crows, struts and poops
on everything”.
We need an attorney general that will defend Idahoans, use all legal
means to reclaim our public lands from the federal government. Will work
to restore our Health Freedom Act so that the citizens of Idaho have the
right to choose their health care.
In the May 20th primary I am supporting Chris Troupis for Attorney
General who has defended Idahoans’ constitutional right and is not afraid
to stand up to the federal government or anyone else.

Governor Otter does not seem to understand that Idaho should avoid
all government intrusion in our schools, medical decision and our lives.
He has let federal “money” influence him to cooperate with the federal
government. These bribes look like money spend like money, but it’s borrowed
and has to be paid back by our grandchildren.
Otter signed on to “Common Core” in our schools. Why can’t Idaho develop
our own high standards for our students!
Otter’s “Your Health Idaho” exchanges Idahoans’ personal data for more
borrowed federal “money.”
As Governor Russ Fulcher would bring “truly” affordable free market
choices in health care.
Russ Fulcher would promote local control of our resources, he would
also promote for local control in our schools.
States have become entangled in dependence on the floundering federal
government. In the May 20th primary let us elect Russ Fulcher to lead Idaho
away from this entanglement

Please join me to put a responsible, knowledgeable and efficient person
in the Idaho County Treasurer’s Office. Abbie Hudson has worked in County
government for over 18 years. Abbie has the knowledge and background to
efficiently run the Treasurer’s office. Her present position in the Clerk/Auditor’s
office gives her hands on experience in the allocation of county monies.
She knows the importance of timely balancing and reporting so as to keep
county monies working for the tax payers. She will not let money sit idle
but will wisely invest for the benefit of the whole county.
I have worked with Abbie in the past and know her to be thorough and
meticulous. She will address all your concerns and questions with honesty
and professionalism. She will ensure that taxpayers as well as staff are

Judge Jeff Brudie is running for re-election (Nez Perce, Latah, Clearwater,
Idaho and Lewis Counties). The Judicial Election is May 20th (Primary Election).
Does your primary vote matter for Judge Brudie? You bet. The
courts are the place you expect fairness for all citizens. All voters can
vote. Practical point, Republicans swamp Democrat turnout in the primary
eight to one. With two candidates, May 20th is it. Make your vote count.
Reelect Judge Brudie on May 20th

To the Editor
I retired a few years ago after having practiced law for almost 34
years in Lewiston. I have known both Judge Jeff M. Brudie and Mr.
John Bradbury for several years. They are running for district judge
in the 2nd Judicial District.
Here are but a few reasons (there are many) I am voting for Judge Jeff
Brudie on May 20th:
1) In his 13 years as district judge, Judge Brudie’s record is impeccable.
The most recent national recognition of his drug court mentoring is confirmation
of his judicial performance.
2) Judge Brudie is truly non-partisan while his opponent makes no bones
about his politics.
3) Brudie’s life experiences as a family man, student athlete, private
practitioner and his strict adherence to judicial ethics, avoiding all
appearances of impropriety, are an integral part of his qualifications.
4) Judge Brudie’s opponent claims that attorneys “game the poll” when
evaluating judicial candidates for the Idaho Judicial Council. This
is totally without foundation and I feel insulted with the baseless accusations
he throws at his fellow lawyers. Is it because his evaluations are
unfavorable? In 2010 (in an overall legal ability rating from 1 to
4 where 4 is the highest) Bradbury only scored a 2! His opponent
scored a 3.6.
Attorneys who practice in front of Judges are generally in a better
position than most to know who is the better-qualified judge. I suggest
you ask your own attorney about these two gentlemen. And then vote for
Judge Brudie on May 20th.
