tickets are still available
The Center For Discovery is still selling dinner tickets to their Luau Fundraiser this Saturday, May 3. Dinner will start at 6:30 and will consist of roasted pork, twice baked potatoes, broccoli and cauliflower salad, ceasar salad, homemade rolls, and dessert. Tickets are just $45.00 per couple, kids 7th grade and up are $10.00, and kids under 6th grade are free. We will be playing games, having auctions, the kids can craft, and a dance. If it doesn't work to come out for dinner bring the family to the dance for just $10.00. Some of the items that will be up for auction are hockey tickets, a cord of wood, a camping package, outdoor decorations, family night in package, a girls basket along with a boys basket this is just to name a few. The Center For Discovery has been a huge asset to the Cottonwood community. We have been open since the fall of 2000 and have helped hundreds of Cottonwood kids with their homework and given them a safe place to go after school with an after school snack. Five years ago we opened the after school preschool program to help out with the lack of daycare in town. The kids that attend this program are ready to go to Kindergarten. We would love to see even some old employees and some of the kids that used to come to the Center. |
