to graduate Friday
There will be 32 graduates this Friday, May 30 at the Prairie High School graduation. The ceremony is set to start at 7 p.m. in the PHS gym. Co-valedictorians Beka Bruner, Drew Cochran and Nicole Wemhoff will lead the procession followed by co-Salutatorians Clark Bruno and Dakota Wilson. 75 percent of the class graduated with at least a 3.0 grade point average as there are 9 students earning high honors (3.5 and up gpa) and 10 more graduating with honors (3.0-3.49 gpa) The high honors students, in alphabetical order, are Casey Danly, Kayla Duclos, Joseph (Halligan) Goldmeer, Laurel Henry, Jared Higgins, Daun Hoene, Leah Holthaus, Jessica Kaschmitter and Kyndahl Ulmer. Honors students are Brooks Arnzen, Dylon Bruegeman, Westin Crenshaw, Luke Enneking, Appy Enriquez, Marina-Rae Evans, Tyler Hankerson, Jacey Langston, Katherine Nida and Keely Schmidt. The other 8 graduates are Gabe Angus, Aaron Blake, Marissa Evans, Andrew Gehring, Brandi Gehring, Lydia Lustig, Jacob Rowland and Sky Wilson. Commencement Speaker will be David Young. The class flower is a red rose. The class colors are red and silver. The class song is “Don’t You Forget About Me” by Simple Minds. The class motto is “If we can’t find a road to success, we will make one" |
