Track
awards are given
Track awards were given out last Wednesday. Front
from left are Krystin Uhlenkott, girls field events athlete of the year;
Keely Schmidt, girls Pirate award, Mykaela McWilliams, girls runner of
the year and Shayla VonBargen who is holding a plaque all four girls received
recognizing their 4x100 and 4x400 state championships and school records.
McWilliams also received one recognizing her breaking the school record
in the 300 hurdles. Back from left are Drew Cochran, boys Pirate award;
Westin Crenshaw, boys field events athlete of the year and Lucas Arnzen,
boys runner of the year. Arnzen also has a plaque recognizing his state
championship in the 400 and breaking the school records in both the 200
and 400.
