open for Raspberry Festival Fun Run
Registrations are open for the Raspberry Festival 10K Fun Run and 5K Walk! The event will kick off the day of family fun on August 3 at the 22nd Annual Raspberry Festival at the Monastery of St. Gertrude, 465 Keuterville Road, in Cottonwood. Beginning at 8 am in front of the Historical Museum at St. Gertrude, the course follows an out-and-back route on a quiet, paved country road. The stretch offers views of the Seven Devils mountains, Salmon River breaks, Gospel-Hump Wilderness Area and the Camas Prairie, making the Raspberry Festival Fun Run one of the most scenic running/walking events in Idaho. Water and refreshments will be provided. Registration is $20 per person or $17/each for teams of 5 or more. Registrations received after July 21st are $25, including the day of the race. The race will be chip timed and registered runners and walkers will receive a commemorative festival T-shirt. The 22nd Annual Raspberry Festival is a fundraising event for the Historical Museum at St. Gertrude and includes an arts and crafts fair, kids carnival, live entertainment and Raspberry Shortcake, hamburgers, Chapel tours and museum visits, cultural demonstrations.and more.
