Days art show held
Central Idaho Art Association (CIAA) Kamiah BBQ Days People’s Choice winner was David Martin’s photo “Land Before Time”. Second runner up was his “Jurassic Park”; third runner up was Ellamae Hole’s “Old Man Creek”. The show was successful with 47 entries of beautiful art and enthusiastic viewers. Tina and Doug Ulmer hosted this CIAA 4th BBQ Days show at Central Idaho Agency on main street. CIAA thanks all who made such a successful show!

Regional Art show set for Oct. 4-5 The Salmon River Art Guild, celebrating 50 years, invites the public to our Regional Art Show. Viewers will be able to see fine art, sculpture, photography, and participate in a silent auction. Up to $1,175 will be awarded. The judge for the event is Marla Kreigbaum of New Meadows. On Friday, October 3, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm (MDT), entries will be accepted at the Riggin's Community Center, 121 Lodge St., (behind the Chevron Station). At 6:00 pm (MDT) a banquet for the artists, guild members, and their families will take place on the lower level of the Community Center. Reservations and choice of baked or barbecued chicken breast are needed to be RSVP by September 26. The cost is $18 per adult, $9 for children 6 to 12, and children 5 and u der are free. The cost is inclusive of tax and tip.
