is next week
Homecoming week is set for September 22-26, 2014. The Pirates will take on the Clearwater Valley Rams in a 7:00 PM Football game. Prairie High School is proud to announce the following homecoming queen and king candidates: Natasha Gimmeson, the daughter of Bryan and Cheryl Gimmeson, Jessica Riener, the daughter of Ron Riener and Michelle Riener, Kayla Schumacher, the daughter of Doug and Julie Schumacher, and Holli Uhlorn the daughter of Darrel and Mary Uhlorn. King Candidates are the senior football players: Lucas Arnzen, the son of Randy Arnzen, Mason Dalgliesh, the son of Tim and Lisa Dalgliesh, John Mager, the son of John Mager and Heidi Remacle, Hunter McWilliams, the son of Pat and Rita McWilliams, Dally Ratcliff, the son of Jeff and Kim Ratcliff, Tanner Ross, the son of Scott and Tara Ross and Rhett Schlader the son of Scot and Shelley Schlader. The parade will begin at Gem Builders at 5:30 p.m. Those marching in the parade should be at Gem builders no later than 5:15 p.m. Monday September 22: Theme: Dig Pink Day – We would like all students and community to dress in pink to support Breast Cancer Awareness month. Volleyball @ home vs. Grangeville - 5:00 p.m. start (C, JV and Varsity Games) Tuesday September 23: Theme: Hobo Day Volleyball @ Troy - 5:00 p.m. (C, JV and Varsity Games) Jr. High Girls’ Basketball @ home vs. Timberline 4:00 p.m. Wednesday September 24: Theme: Character Day Powder Puff Football @ 7:00 PM Bonfire/Pep Rally following the game – weather permitting. Thursday September 25: Theme: Class Choice – Seniors-Napoleon Dynamite, Juniors-Hick Day, Sophomores – Hippie Day Freshmen – Throw Back Thursday Volleyball @ home vs. Lapwai 6:00 Jr. High Girls’ Basketball @ Orofino 4:00 Jr. High Football @ Timberline 4:30 Friday September 26: Spirit Day PEP Assembly 7th hour Parade line-up @ 5:30 at Gem Builders – Cheerleaders will lead the parade. Homecoming Football game @ 7:00 vs. CV Half-time activities – procession of floats Announce float winner Announce queen candidates and their escorts - senior football players as king candidates. Announce Homecoming King and Queen – Crowning Homecoming Dance will be held at the auxiliary gym following the game until 11:30 PM.
