Library News
Another week closer to the 6th annual Brats and Brew Fest. Gather a group of friends reserve a table and purchase your tickets now. For those of you who wish to enter in the “tasting” contest, entry forms and rules are available at the Library. For questions or concerns call the Library at 962-3714 on Tuesday or Thursday.
Once again, a lovely Denham quilt, designed and constructed by a group of offenders at NICI, was donated as an auction item. These have been very popular in the past and this year will be no exception. We thank Emmett Wilson, instructor, for his continued support of the library.
Another very special auction item is a metal clock designed and presented to the library last spring by the late Ernie Jennings. It is one of a kind, a Master piece in its own. Another very unique item is a ceramic vase designed and donated by Jean Anglen. The design is created by using horse hair. Jeanne will be featured at the library as November artesian of the month. A wide variety of both silent and live auction items will be available. This is just a snapshot of what will be offered during the evening. At 9 P.M and returning once again for your dancing pleasure are the Coffey Twins and Satins. Rumors have it that a dance contest may be held. Put on your dancing shoes and join us for a fun filled evening Saturday, November 25th beginning at 5 P.M.
Below are some of the items donated for the auction:
