Cottonwood City Council meets
The Cottonwood City Council held their regular October meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 14 due to the Columbus Day holiday on their usual meeting date.
It was reported that the 2 new firetrucks would be picked up over the weekend.
A catering permit request from Doreen Ash for the Bräts and Brew was approved.
The janitorial contract for the upcoming year was also approved.
In the water report Pat Holthaus reported that there is a project to replace a waterline on 1st South Street (where Hometown Auto & Ag is located).
In the sewer report Ron Grant reported the Maple Street culvert replacement is done as is the retructuring behind Rieners’ Grocery.
In the land and buldings report Shelli Schumacher reported they met with CEDA about training in project applications and they are working on the next stage of the Community Hall Basement remodeling.
In other business it was noted there would be a mass casualty drill at the fairgrounds put on by the hospital on Wednesday, Oct. 15.
Also the Council received thank yous from the Idaho Good Sams and from IdaLew Economic Development.
The next meeting will be Monday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m.
