What a great time to be a Prairie Pirate. Academic awards, Volleyball Champs, Football Success and more. I hope everyone is soaking up our success and appreciating the hard work of our teachers, coaches and students and athletes. Thank you for your efforts. The booster club is working on closing out our Pirate Power Sports 4-wheeler raffle. The winner will be drawn on November 25th at the first girl’s home basketball game. Some consolation prizes will also be drawn. It is not too late to buy your raffle ticket. They are $50 per ticket but the odds of winning are about 1 in 200 right now. Please look up any of the booster club officers to buy your ticket. Glenn, Denise, Cara or Linda would be happy to put your name in the drawing. Remember all funds go back into our great school. If anyone is looking for Pirate gear, please look me up. I will be at the football game on Thursday night and looking to sell out gear we have on hand. Also Pirate gear for the holidays will be available for sale at the Hangout. If we don’t have it or the right size we can get it in 7 to 10 days. Lets pack the gyms with red, black and white pirate gear. Also happening soon should be a brand new sign at the entrance of cottonwood declaring our many state championships. Exact location still in the works but this will be a nice sign that can be updated for years to come. So get those raffle tickets, get your pirate gear and get on board the pirate ship for a great trip during the 14/15 school year. And as always go Pirates! Glenn Poxleitner |
