Club results
Saturday October 25th the Cottonwood Wresting Club participated in their first tournament of the season. Traveling to Potlatch Idaho, everyone did a great job! Caleb McWilliams and Dalton Ross both took home 1st place medals for their weight class and Kyle Schwartz earned the 2nd place medal for his weight class. Saturday November 1st the Cottonwood Wrestling Club traveled to Grangeville to wrestle. Improving with every practice our team brought home seven medals. Caleb McWilliams and Kyle Schwartz both earned 1st place medals for their weight class and Dalton Ross earned 2nd place in his weight class. Our team earned four 3rd place medals by Chris Schumacher, Dylan Uhlenkott, Tage Perrin and Sierra McWilliams. The most recent wrestling tournament for our young wrestlers was hosted by the Cottonwood Wrestling Club at the Cottonwood Elementary School. This week Dalton Ross earned 1st place winning all of his matches. Caleb Butler earned the 2nd place medal for his weight class and his first tournament of the season. Chris Schumacher, Jack Chambers, Dylan Uhlenkott, Tage Perrin and Kyle Schwartz all took third place medals in their weight class. The Cottonwood Wrestling Club would like to thank all of the siblings, parents, the high school wrestlers and their families for all their help!
