Financial
Aid night set
Prairie Jr.-Sr. High School’s Financial Aid Night is scheduled for January 7th at 6:30 pm in the high school library. Information will be presented regarding filling out the FAFSA form (computers will be available to complete onsite) and the college application process. Information on scholarships will also be available. The FAFSA is used to qualify students for work-study, grants, and loans. You will be ineligible to apply for many scholarships if you have not completed a FAFSA. For this reason, all seniors and senior parents are encouraged to attend. Prior to the financial aid night, it is helpful if both a parent and student apply for a FAFSA pin number. This number is needed to sign the form. A pin number can be requested at www.pin.ed.gov If you would like to complete your FAFSA during the meeting please bring your most recent tax return. You will later update the FAFSFA when taxes are completed. Please contact Suzi Quintal, School Counselor, by phone at 962-3901 or email quintal@sd242.org with any questions. |
