To the Editor:
As one of the “politically correct people” who has given back to Cottonwood in the past, I disagree with Shorty and Marge Arnzen who “will stand with Senator Nuxoll” in her rude actions and comments about the Hindu faith.  
According to a statement by the Diocese of Boise on March 9, 2015, “Sen. Nuxoll’s comments reflect her own personal opinions.  They do not represent the opinions or teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, Bishop Peter Christensen or even our Holy Father, Pope Francis, who has been an outspoken supporter of ecumenical and inter-religious dialogue.”
Therefore, I stand with Pope Francis, not Senator Nuxoll.
