Monitoring Workshop set
The University of Idaho, Idaho County Extension System will be holding a Rangeland Monitoring Workshop on Thursday, April 16th at Hoot’s Café in White Bird. The workshop will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at approximately 4:00 p.m. The workshop will be led by Dr. Amanda Gearhart, University of Idaho Extension Rangeland Specialist stationed in Twin Falls. The morning will include talks on how to develop and properly monitor range utilization, range improvements and range health. Dr. Gearhart will provide classroom instruction on these topics during the morning session. The afternoon session will be conducted out on the range and will include hands on application of range monitoring methods. The workshop is open to anyone interested in learning to conduct range monitoring. Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP by April 14th to guarantee a spot at lunch.
