nominated for North Idaho awards
The North Idaho Sports Awards Banquet is set for this Saturday, April 11, at 5:30 p.m. at the Coeur d’Alene Inn in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Prairie High School has several nominees. Jake Bruner and Rhett Schlader are both nominated for Male Athlete of the Year (Class 1A-3A) while Krystin Uhlenkott and Kayla Schumacher are both nominated for Female Athlete of the Year (Class 1A-3A). The Prairie football, boys basketball and baseball teams are all nominated for North Idaho male team of the year (Class 1A-3A) with Orofino baseball the only other nominee. The Prairie volleyball team is nominated for North Idaho female team of the year (Class 1A-3A). Ryan Hasselstrom, Teel Bruner and Kyle Westhoff area all nominated for North Idaho coach of the year, male sports (Class 1A-3A) and Cheyenne Hudson is nominated for North Idaho coach of the year, female sports (Class 1A-3A).
