To celebrate the spring weather and Earth Day, Summit Academy’s 9th-12th grade girls picked up trash along Highway 95, on Tuesday, April 21.This service project is part of the Adopt-a-Highway program that the school maintains yearly. The girls had help from staff members Mr. Dalton, Miss Frei, and Mrs. Rose and a parent volunteer Colleen Chmelik. Pictured below are the Summit girls flanked by Mr. Dalton and Miss Frei. 
The Kindergarten class of Summit Academy took a field trip to Donna Wassmuth's home to make books. Each child made a personalized book. It was a fun time! |
