Both first grader classes from Prairie Elementary School recently went on their annual field trip to St. Mary’s Hospital.  The children were able to visit the Laboratory, Radiology, Emergency Room and Cardiac Rehab.  The children received a mini-cast of their fingers in the emergency room.  They were unable to visit the Operating Room or the Ambulance this year as there were several procedures being done in the OR and both ambulances were out on transfers at the time of the tour.  At the end of the tour the students were treated to juice and cookies in the cafeteria.  Photos provided by Cheri Holthaus.
