Democrats meet
The Idaho County Democratic Party met Monday night ,May 12th, at the Soltman Center in Grangeville. Tom Hamilton, the Political Director of the Idaho Democratic Party, spoke to the group gathered. The state team is working with county committees to establish county, region, and state strategic plans. Tom lead the group in putting together a rough draft of a county strategic plan. The County Party’s annual June picnic and pie auction will be held in Grangeville at the City Park starting at 1 pm on June 28, 2014. All interested people are welcome to attend. Come and have a good time, good food, good desserts, and good company. The State’s fall convention is in the planning stages. The convention will be in Lewiston on October 3 and 4, the same weekend as the Cecil Andrus Statesman Banquet. Idaho County’s next meeting will be a casual meeting in the form of a social get-together. Plans are to hold it in While Bird on June 8th at 6:30 pm.
