50 year celebration set for July 15
St. Mary’s Hospital would like to invite the community to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their hospital building. A free barbeque will be held on July 15th at the Idaho County Fair Grounds; the celebration will be held from 5:30 till dark and the dinner will be served from 6:00 to 7:00. Dinner will be catered by the Rib Guy and Gal and will consist of BBQ ribs, baked beans, potato salad, garlic bread and cookies. Smiley the Clown will be there to entertain the children; old photos will be on display, stories will be shared, awards will be presented and Matthew Forge, new CAO for St. Mary’s Hospital will be introduced to the community. In addition both the SMH ambulance the Life Flight will be there to conduct tours; if they are not out on calls. “We are very proud of our hospital and want to thank our community for its continued success,” said Cheri Holthaus, community relations coordinator. “We also want to acknowledge the sacrifices those in the community have made over the years in regards to the money and volunteer hours donated to the hospital; we are so fortunate to have such wonderful people supporting our hospital.” If you have any questions regarding this celebration please contact Holthaus at 962-2327.
