Call for entries for Raspberry Festival Quilt Show
The Knight of Columbus 6th annual Golf Tournament, “On a Swing and a Prayer” was a success again this year.  Dodging rain showers the 11 teams teed off at 9:15 in the 4 person best ball scramble tournament.  Two teams tied for first place with a 25.  Pictured at right is the winning team consisting of Bob Fontaine, Jack Anthony, Jay Childers, and Jim Warburton from the Boise Area.
Matt Dame, Max Cawley, Max Cawley Jr., and Alex Cawley were on the team with the other 25 score.  Matt Dame and Jim Warburton chipped off with the pictured team ended up winning. Third place was Dan Lustig, Rocky Howe, Rodney Barger, and Neil Walstad with a score of 26.  The event was sponsored by Brown Strauss Steel out of Salt Lake City Utah.  Ron Anderson had the longest drive for the day.  Emit Wilson won the “surprise hole” and putting contest with the only put made.
Maurice Seubert won the Duck Contest, where ducks float down the creek to a finish line.  With less water this year in the creek the ducks floated a new portion of water to allow the competition to work.  Maurice Seubert took home the gold Duck race with the only white duck in the completions and ended up winning $125.
