is employee of the month
Donna Quick has been chosen by her St. Mary’s Hospital co-workers as the Employee of the Month for June. 
Her nomination form stated; “Donna always wears a smile when she addresses
our patients and their families; her friendliness is contagious.
She takes care of the gift cabinet, the vending machines and also runs
the volunteer program, I know these are only part of her job, but none
of them come without a lot of ‘advice’ from everyone around her and she
handles the advice very well.”
Donna began her 10 year career with SMH as the Activities Director for the Long Term Care and Swing-bed patients. In 2008 she took the volunteer coordinator position for both St. Mary’s and Clearwater Valley Hospitals while still keeping her primary position. When the Long Term Care was eliminated she moved to part time switchboard operator. In 2011 she began managing the gift cabinet and vending machines and in 2012 she also starting working as an admissions clerk. In additional she has volunteered with the food bank since 2013. Donna received her CNA certification while in high school and in 2002 she took an activities director class and received her certification I 2003. Donna enjoys camping, fishing, and traveling whenever and wherever she can. She has been married to her husband, Rod for 17 years and they have one son, Jordon who is 10 years old. They own and operate Rodonna’s Country Haus & Motel in Cottonwood. Donna and Rod have also fostered 12 children and were able to enjoy a foreign exchange student for a year. They are very involved with the Relay for Life; helping with fundraising and being part of a ‘family’ team. “The Relay is a big part of our lives; it is something we do as a family,” said Donna. “I work with the most caring and compassionate people, their knowledge and expertise is like no other,” commented Donna. “It’s a privilege to be a part of this team.” |
