Prairie has Crosscountry team Prairie High School will have a crosscountry team this fall with 5 meets currently on their schedule It is Prairie’s first crosscountry team of their own in many years although a few runners have competed with Highland the last couple of years. Glenn Poxleitner is serving as volunteer head coach with Jenny Arnzen and David Young as assistants. Team members so far include Anthony Karel, Sydney Bruner, Leah Higgins, Madison Ulmer, Hope McIntire, Chaye Uptmor, Kylie Tidwell, Pedro Marcatto, who is a Junior exchange student and James Villamor a freshman who moved here from Boise. At this time we’re not sure where or when the District meet will be held The State Crosscountry Championships will be at Farragut State Park on Saturday, Oct. 31.
