The old BLM buildings on the west side of Butte Drive have been town down and Small Butte Construction of Cottonwood is excavating the area for the foundations for the new BLM office complex. Once the new building is completed the old offices seen in the background will be torn down. Click on the photo for a larger view.

Construction of a right turn bay on the east side of Highway 95 to turn onto Greencreek Rd., shown above, and also one on Lake Road near Fenn started this week. Summer reading awards were given out at the Story Time Tuesday, Sept. 8 at the Library. In the top photo is Mat Frei, son of Crystal and Nick Frei, who read 92 books. In the bottom photo are Clara and James Lustig, children of Don and Morna Lustig, who won their age groups. Older winners Henry and Lilliann Lustig were in school and unavailable for photos. The audience stood for Handel's Hallelujah Chorus last year. The Gonzaga University Choir performs again this Sunday at 1:30 pm. They will also provide music for 10:30 Mass.
