Council
meeting rescheduled--burn ban lifted
The Cottonwood City Council’s September meeting has been rescheduled to Thursday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. due to a lack of a quorum at their regular time Monday, Sept. 14. Before dispersing though Mayor Denis Duman wanted to give kudos to the Hospital for putting in a sprinkler system and greening up the lawn. He also wanted to give praise to Mike Westhoff and Steve Lamont of Gem Builders for replacing the old broken up sidewalk from their main building to Goldstone St. This was an example of the city and a business working together as the city crew help remove the old sidewalk. Also Fire Chief Roy Uhlenkott reported he has lifted the burning ban that has been effect in Cottonwood since July. |
