Jim Schmidt and Ambrose Schumacher display the antlers from a mule deer shot by them in 1961. At that time they were among the largest antlers taken in Idaho and were registered with Boone and Crockett. Tom Schmidt, Harold Schmidt and Ed Schmidt were also in the hunting group. Jim recently returned from the Veterans’ Honor Flight from Spokane to Washington, D.C. Jim was accompanied by his daughter, Margie Arnzen. Click on the photo for a larger view.
