The Idaho County Democrats finished their semi-annual Highway 12 clean up, Saturday, November 7, east of Kamiah.  Short work was made of it with lots of help and a good meal after. The group also cleans a two mile stretch of Highway 95 north of Grangeville. For information on the next clean up and monthly party meetings, go to Idaho County Democrats Facebook page or call Michelle Perdue at 983 3763.  Meetings are the second Monday of the month. Shown are Andrea and Phil Foster, Kamiah.  Photo by Bill Farmer, Cottonwood.

Oakley’s quarterback was gang-tackled on this play by Calvin Hinkelman, left, Philip Spencer at right and Brandon Anderson, pulling him down from the ground. Coming in at right is Isaiah Shears. This was one of 7 times the Oakley quarterback was tackled for a loss in the game as Oakley's offense was basically held scoreless. Prairie plays at Raft River on Saturday, Nov., 14 at 1 p.m. PST. The winner of that game will play the Valley-Lapwai winner for the championship.
