named coach of the year
Prairie’s Cheyenne Hudson was recently named the White Pine League Division 1 Volleyball coach of the year. Prairie players earning first team all-league honors were Krystin Uhlenkott and Shayla VonBargen while Hailey Danly and Sarah Seubert were named second team all-league. For Summit Academy Ally Sonnen was named to the first team for Division 2 while Rachel Waters received second team honors. District all-star volleyball Three Prairie seniors and one from Summit were named to play in the District All-Star Volleyball game which was held Monday, Nov. 9 at Lapwai.. Krystin Uhlenkott, Shayla VonBargen and Hailey Danly all played for the South squad which was coached by Prairie’s Cheyenne Hudson. Also named to the South squad was Rachel Waters, the lone senior on Summit’s team. The North team wound up winning the match.
